Pilibhit House, Haridwar – IHCL SeleQtions

Heritage property at an excellent location to explore Haridwar and not too far from Rishikesh. We had a Ganga view room with the swimming pool right at our doorstep. The 'Welcome Ritual' was a heartwarming surprise for us. All staff and concierge were very professional and friendly. The hotel private evening aarti ceremony was an introduction to what to expect from the Har Ki Pauri evening aarti. Day trips with local guides from 'The Adventure Team' to the holy temples were offered by the hotel. We also did the morning Ganga walk with the guide. There are a few restaurants at the property and staff were very helpful with suggesting local food. Highly recommend this hotel.

Our stay was made extremely comfortable by the best staff in the world specially Mr Sonu who was the housekeeping guy. During our departure I forgot my necklace in the hotel room. He found it and returned it back to us, else we might’ve left it in the room Also Ms Shruti was very courteous and personally attended us everyday to make sure our stay remains comfortable. Mr Sanjay went above and beyond to arrange for private dining at our request. Whenever we are going to visit Haridwar in future we are not going anywhere else but Pilibhit house

This property is absolutely amazing. A haven of peace and tranquility on the banks of the Holy River Ganga. The staff were so friendly, kind and helpful. Hemant and Nikita at the reception desk, Arvind the guide who took us Har ki Padi, the front security and the restaurant staff. The food and endless cups of chai the staff happy to provide. There was a lovely afternoon tea with beautiful bhajans. The aarti by their private ghat was beautiful and felt so special. All the way to the hotel car and driver organized to take us to the airport. I can’t fault anything about this hotel.

I can not fault this hotel for a single thing! Beyond 5* service from every single member of staff, with attention to detail and customer service. We were treated like royalty from the moment we set foot in the hotel, until we checked out. We had several hours before our night train, Jitender and his team made a room available for us to rest and freshen up and we could y be more greatful. They also held a little celebration for my mums birthday, with a home made cake. The nicest little gesture! Given the chaos that ensues outside of the hotel, I was greatful for the safe and quiet haven Pilibhit house offers. Arvind and his team in the dining area were exceptional at both breakfast and dinner. Always waiting on us, and suggesting dinner ideas when we felt like eating light. The breakfast was brilliant. A real variety in the buffet and additional extras from the kitchen (the pancakes and waffle were a hit!). Lovely entertainment in the evening too. The live singer, and musician during the day was the cherry on top. Soothing tunes while you dine added to the ambience and experience. Gutted to be leaving, but also, I don’t think I’d stay anywhere else when I come back. Thanks to all of the staff at Pilibhit house for making our stay so memorable. Although property is small but Ganga view is so breathtaking that the size of the place won’t bother much. Plus itinerary is methodically curated to keep the guest engaged and also to provide them taste of Haridwar. be it Evening Aarti or 9grah puja. Palm reading or walking down Ganga ghat, everything will add beautifully to your spiritual journey. The most beautiful I liked about my stay was people. Staff members like Sagar, Vinod, Anshika where so kind and helpful that you always feel that you are taken good care off which you look for from places like these.
